Connect

New Charlotte knows that feeling connected to the mission of the church is critical to your walk with God. No matter where you are in life, we want to partner with you to take your next step with Christ. We have created age appropriate environments geared to helping people grow in Christ.

Serve

New Charlotte strives to be known as a radically generous church by giving away our time, money, and talents to impact the local and global community. If you have questions or ideas please email kennybrown@newcharlotte.org

Greenway Park Elementary School

New Charlotte is excited to partner with Greenway Park Elementary School, just 2.4 miles from New Charlotte on Monroe Road.  Prayerfully consider how you can be involved at Greenway Park.  You can volunteer to be a lunch buddy, reading buddy, or participate in our projects during the year.  Our Wednesday Morning community groups serve the third Wednesday of the month.

Our Project Backpacks Campaign has begun!  We are providing every student at Greenway Park with an LL Bean Backpack filled with the school supplies they need to start the year off right! Did you know lawmakers can determine the number of prison beds needed by looking at third grade reading levels?  We want to support Greenway Park’s effort to prepare students for the next level.  Please consider donating to help these students learn and encourage them to do their best.  One backpack is $35, one classroom is $700 and an entire grade is $3,500. If you are interested in donating, click here, or contact Catherine Knuckles.

New Charlotte launched The Teacher Project in December.  We provided 100 iPads and set up Room 211: A Teacher Resource Room for the teachers and students at Greenway Park.  We are helping teachers care for and prepare their students to succeed. New Charlotte is hoping to close the digital divide that exists in the technology world, and also provide coats, shoes, backpacks and school supplies for the teachers to care for their students.  Ultimately, we are committed to changing the current trend that one-third of CMS students do not graduate high school.

Contact Catherine Knuckles if you would like more information about how you can get connected at the school and participate in the projects for the upcoming school year.

If you are interested in volunteering at Greenway Park, simply go to cmsvolunteers.com to register.  Please list Greenway Park as the school you will be visiting, and list New Charlotte as your organization.
