Last Words

Last Words are important. Last words typically epitomize a person.
We remember people by their last words to the world, hence the expression: Famous Last Words.

Jesus’ Last Words to us tells us our Next Move now.
Knowing and Living out Jesus’ last words are crucial in understanding our own purpose in life.

Jesus gathered his 11 remaining disciples together, after his resurrection, and gave them one final talk.

“It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth.”    Acts 1:7-8

We ask God for answers in order to gain power over others – verse 6
God gives us power in order to give answers to others  – verses 7-8

Jesus’ last words to you:

“BE MY WITNESSES…”

What if?

What if we filtered our next decisions, actions, thoughts, and words with these simple last words from Jesus?

Last words matter.
Jesus’ last words should become our Next Move
